Royal Canadian Army Tie Tack Pay Corps Lapel Pin Canada Armed Forces
A tie pin made with a vintage uniform button.
- I found this vintage button and thought it would be great to make a pin with.
- It is embossed with the insignia of the Royal Canadian Army Pay Corps
- The button is brass in color with black added to enhance the design.
- It is a vintage button so it does show wear and tear.
- It is mounted on to a clutch back style pin.
- The button is around 5/8 inch in diameter.

This lapel pin has a wonderful antique look to it. It would be a great gift for anyone who is a history buff or even just someone who loves Canada. Made with a button embossed with the insignia of the Royal Canadian Army Pay Corps. The Royal Canadian Army Pay Corps (RCAPC) was an administrative corps of the Canadian Army with its own cap badge, and other insignia and traditions. It was established in 1906 as the Canadian Army Pay Corps. It was responsible for administering all financial matters. It began officially as the Canadian Army Pay Corps and started operating in July 1907. It was redesignated the Royal Canadian Army Pay Corps in Nov 1920. In 1967 the corps was amalgamated with other units into the Logistics Branch. The button is mounted on to a brass tone clutch back pin. The front of the button is around 5/8 inch in diameter.
All of my tie tack/lapel pins can be ordered with a standard clutch back or for an additional charge, a silver colored safety chain can be added. Choose which option you would like from the drop down menu before adding this item to your cart.
