It began officially as the Canadian Army Pay Corps and started operating in July 1907. It was redesignated the Royal Canadian Army Pay Corps in Nov 1920. In 1967 the corps was amalgamated with other units into the Logistics Branch. The button is mounted on to a brass tone bail plate and strung on to a silver toned ball chain.
