These earrings extremely cute. They are made from extremely dark purple buttons that have a small brass bezel around the edge. They are rather lightweight, so you won't even realize you are wearing them they are so light. If you look at the photos, you can see how dark they are. They almost appear black, but if the light hits them just right you can see the pretty purple pop out. They are mounted on regular post stud earrings. The buttons are about 1/2 inch in diameter
