Surrey Yeomanry Tie Tack British Lapel Pin
A tie tack with a Surrey Yeomanry button.
- I was given these vintage buttons and thought they would be great to make accessories with.
- This pin is made from a button off a British Army uniform.
- The insignia on it belongs to the Surrey Yeomanry Infantry.
- It is mounted on a clutch back style pin that is brass in color.
- The button on this is about 3/4 inch in size.
-------------
This pin has a wonderful antique look to it. I think these are from a British Army tunic. The button is embossed with a symbol that has an "MR" in the middle surrounded by a circle and a crown on top. Around the edge are the words "Surrey Yeomanry (Queen Marys Rect). The Surrey Yeomanry was a unit of the British Army formed as volunteer cavalry in 1794 and is still active. This button I fashioned with a brushed finish. It is mounted on a clutch back style pin that is brass tone in color. The button may show some wear and tear, but is in great condition. The button on this pin is about 3/4 inch in size.
All of my tie tack/lapel pins can be ordered with a standard clutch back or for an additional charge, a silver colored safety chain can be added. Choose which option you would like from the drop down menu before adding this item to your cart.
