Snow Agate Necklace
This ring is made with a beautiful kite shaped stone that is called snow agate. It has subtle swirls in it like a snow storm. This particular stone has a small druzy spot on the top as well. (Druzy means covered with minute crystals : containing cavities lined with crystals). You can see it in the photos where it looks like a break, but it isn’t.
I have it set on to a sterling silver mounting that is completely hand fabricated. It is held in place with 4 prongs. On either side of the stone I have added a detail that looks similar to wings. Would make this a great necklace to give to someone who may have just lost someone. As a reminder they will always be right near their heart.
The front of the pendant is 7/8 X 1 1/16 inches in size. It is strung on a sterling silver chain that is 18 inches in length.
