Royal Regiment British Artillery Cuff Links
Military cufflinks made from vintage military buttons
- I have always loved creating items with vintage military buttons.
- These are made with what I believe are Royal Regiment Artillery buttons.
- They are mounted on cufflink stems that are T shaped and swivel for fastening
- These are vintage and no pair is the same. Some show more wear and tear than others. You can see this in the photos.
- They are available in two different "tones": a brushed brass that is a bit brighter and a brass that is more antique.
- They are also available in two diameters: 5/8 inch or 7/8 inch.
-----------------------
These cufflinks are a perfect idea for anyone who wants to look sharp. I think these are from a British Army tunic for the Royal Regiment of Artillery. The button is embossed with an insignia that is a cannon with a crown over it. The Royal Regiment of Artillery, commonly referred to as the Royal Artillery (RA) and colloquially known as "The Gunners", is the artillery arm of the British Army. They come in two different metal tones and two diameters. The brighter brushed brass is available in 5/8 inch with silver tone cufflink backs. The more antiqued brass tone is available in 5/8 and 7/8 inch diameters and are mounted on brass tone cufflink backs. They are all from different uniforms so some pairs do show more wear and tear than others. You can see this in the photos.
