- I was given these vintage buttons and thought they would be great to make accessories with.
- This pin is made from a button with the insignia of the Royal Regiment of Artillery.
- This button is vintage and you can easily see in the photos that there is wear and tear, but it adds to the historical appeal.
- It is mounted on a stick pin that is brass in color.
- This button is 7/8 inch in diameter and the pin is 2 7/8 inch in length.
-------------
This pin has a wonderful antique look to it. I think this is from a British Army tunic for the Royal Regiment of Artillery. The button is embossed with an insignia that is a cannon with a crown over it. The Royal Regiment of Artillery, commonly referred to as the Royal Artillery (RA) and colloquially known as "The Gunners", is the artillery arm of the British Army. This button I fashioned with a brushed finish with a dark patina around the valleys and grooves of the design. It is mounted on a brass tone stick pin, so it could be used as a lapel pin, hat pin or even a scarf pin. It is vintage and does some wear and tear, but that adds to the historical appeal of the button. This button is 7/8 inch in diameter and the stick pin is 2 7/8 inch in length.
