Royal Artillery Lapel Pin British Military Tie Tack

This pin has a wonderful antique look to it. I think this is from a British Army tunic for the Royal Regiment of Artillery. The button is embossed with an insignia that is a cannon with a crown over it. The Royal Regiment of Artillery, commonly referred to as the Royal Artillery (RA) and colloquially known as "The Gunners", is the artillery arm of the British Army. This button I fashioned with a brushed finish with a dark patina around the valleys and grooves of the design. It is mounted on a brass tone clutch back pin, so it could be used as a lapel pin or a tie tack. It is vintage and does some wear and tear, but that adds to the historical appeal of the button. This button is 5/8 inch in diameter.
