This necklace has a wonderful antique look to it. It. The button is embossed with the coat of arms of the York and Lancaster regiment of the WW1. The York and Lancaster Regiment was a line infantry regiment of the British Army that existed from 1881 until 1968. The Coat of Arms that has a lion in the center with the York/Lancaster rose under it. Around the edge of the button is a laurel wreath. It is strung on a matching brass colored 18 inch chain. It is simple, yet masculine enough to not really be considered a necklace.
